After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a wildlife game drive. The park is famous for its diverse landscapes, groundwater forests, acacia woodlands, and beautiful lakeside scenery. During your game drive, look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, baboons, hippos, and various bird species. You may also have the opportunity to spot the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. In the afternoon, continue to Karatu, where you will check in at your lodge and relax after an exciting day of wildlife exploration.

After an early breakfast, depart Karatu and travel towards Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Ngorongoro Highlands before entering the vast Serengeti plains. Upon entering the park, enjoy a game drive en route to your accommodation, searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, and other wildlife. Depending on the season and location, you may also encounter herds of wildebeest participating in the Great Migration. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Spend a full day exploring the remarkable wildlife of Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, head out with your professional safari guide to discover different wildlife areas and enjoy the best game-viewing opportunities. Search for the Big Five, including lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos, alongside cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest. Depending on the season, you may witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration across the plains or near the rivers. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated area within the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Return to your camp in the late afternoon or evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive on its wildlife-rich floor. Explore the crater’s grasslands, wetlands, and woodland habitats in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and other wildlife. The crater is also one of the best places in Tanzania to look for the endangered black rhino, although sightings are not guaranteed. Enjoy a picnic lunch during your excursion before ascending the crater walls and continuing to Karatu. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy a relaxing evening.

After breakfast, depart Karatu and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and beautiful savannah landscapes. Enjoy a game drive through the park, exploring its riverine areas and open plains in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes, and predators such as lions and leopards. Stop for a picnic lunch before continuing your afternoon wildlife exploration. Later, exit the park and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or evening. You will be dropped off at your hotel or another agreed location, marking the end of your unforgettable 5-day Northern Circuit safari.
