LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

When compared to other parks in Tanzania, it is fairly small but very rich in both Flora and Fauna. At one side the park has an escarpment of the great rift valley wall that is covered in most parts by the forest while half of the park is covered by the lake named after the park. It’s alive with a bustling wildlife population.

You’ll see various wild animals including giraffes, wildebeests, buffalos, zebras, impalas, waterbucks, warthogs and of course, the best of African elephants! If you head up the slopes, you may even spot the klipspringer and dik-dik and birds like flocks of Pelicans and flamingos and up to 500 species of birds.

Arusha National Park is made up for three vast areas: Momela Lake, Mt. Meru and Ngurdoto Crater. The best way to explore Momela Lakes is to jump into a canoe. The Ngurdoto Crater is encircled by forests, you go walk their or take a vehicle. Mt. Meru is a combination of luscious forests and rocks of all kind.
